Cloud Files and transferred files are encrypted with AES-256-GCM. All communication is protected with TLS.
No email, no phone number. It runs on a device-derived anonymous ID that isn't tied to your store account.
Photos and recordings go straight to My Files, not your photo library by default. Notifications never reveal the message body.
